View Full Version : 2008 LMM Build is no longer a myth or rumor
There has been a rumor floating around that we where building something completely one off and completely un heard of. Well we thought we would make it public and put truth to the rumors that have been stirring our phones.
This project began about two months back and is still in progress.
The build consists of a 2008 Chevy LMM with 5,000 miles on it when it came in for DPF delete and EFI live. Since then it has taken a huge land slide towards complete one of a kind builds from the ground up. Many are going to look at the pics and say it cant be done. Well up until now nobody has tried what is about to be attempted on a new age diesel motor. Pics are in the initial mock up stage so bare with us. Camera phones dont always take that good of quality of photos.
So with that all being said I will post up detail and pics as the build comes along. We will only be posting this build and updating it on three sites so please keep checking back here to see the progress of this build.

Looks serious Chad. Are you going to feed it with something else? Looks like a 4* Belt may be needed to turn that sucker. Looking forward to seeing it develop. Nice one. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: ps. Have you thought about putting a Water/Air Cooler between that Blower and the Intake similar to an old mate has on this 6.5 of his?

The intake manifold is in development as we speak water to air is a thought and is being attempted but we are very limited on clearance for some odd reason):h This guy is dead set on doing what ever means necessary not to put a body lift on the truck. If we could lift the body just a measly 2-3" it would make this whole project a lot less complicated.

What size rear tires are yall gonna strap to this thing gotta be something huge if this is a street truck<--that would be redicuolous but cool to see in action.

blower is actually off an off-shore 200 mph catermaran race boat. should be interesting):h
Owner of the truck wants to try and run a 10" wide rim at first and go from there. It going to have some pretty trick exhaust setup as well after we get that all said and done and everything all cosher it may just get 4 linked in the rear.

I dont want this thread to detour either. But this 6.5 is in a Toyota Landcruiser, Engine is stock, made 422 RWHP and hes been driving troublefree for over a year. I have a couple more pics if you want I can email them
