Sitting here watching the snow fly out my window it has occurred to me that my V2 has been in the center console since I got it in April.
With overnight temps sure to be in the single digits in the not-to-distant future, I am thinking this is probably not the best storage idea. Anyone know for sure if these things are sensitive to the cold (or heat for that matter).?

Mine stays in the truck pretty much year round, unless I bring it in for some reason. I haven't had any problems with mine yet.

You're probably both right. I have a vague recollection of Cindy or one of the other EFI folks warning against leaving the hardware out in the cold. Perhaps I read it in the documentation. Whatever, I am sure a cold night here or there isn't too risky, but I will probably put the stock tune back in for winter and bring it inside this weekend.
Thanks for the replies.

Operating temperature is listed in the "Quickstart booklet" that is on the EFILive CD.
It used to be a real printed booklet, but now it is only supplied as a PDF on the CD.
Attached is a copy of the relevant page.
Cheers

Thanks for posting Cindy, that is relevant to all of us who have V2's.
