I leave my FAT tune in all the time. I never change it to a tow tune. Trans desnt seem to like it when i change tunes all the time (Brian) and i never have a issue with towing. Spend the 100.00, plenty of good fellas in AZ with laptops willing to help you out and you will love it.

Tell me more about unplugging the adaptive learning for the trans, can you even do that and the trans still work without throwing a serious code and not jacking everything up or would it just operate like a trans that doesnt have that feature?

I wouldnt disable the adaptive learning.

heres a thought I heard somewhere...check your tap settings when its shifting like you want and reset the default settings to what you want, then when it learns from you reseting taps, it will take not much time.
