Not bad for 187K. Sounds a little steep for the repair though. Mine only made it 44K, and then it was only the whole motor):h

This truck for sure owes me nothing! Though it would have been nice to do it before I serviced the coolant? LOL

Been there, done that. Had a small oil leak after we put the new motor in my truck and lost all the coolant when we had to pull the oil filter head. Coolant had 10 minutes on it:mad:

It's hard to guess what else I should do as Preventive I guess I could do all the hoses but they all look good this one you can't see. I did get about 7500 miles on the coolant. :thumb:

These truck hold up really well. Inspect all the hoses, if they are soft, replace them, but they all seem to have a very good life expectency... That's about all you can do.
You shouldn't lose all the coolant, so it should just be a fill up. If they are charging you for a complete flush, that isn't right.

Is this the same hose that a few guys have seen pin hole size leaks?? They couldn't explain where their coolant was going, it was just going.
Probably not the same one as it seems like that was a quick and easy fix!!
With that amount of miles I'd say your PMs are working...
Without checking my records for exact milage... I've had injectors at 95k or so, a left front bearing and hub assembly at 120k or so, and a water pump at 130k or so. I'm ready for some rear pads now (143k)... \
Previous owner got a new FiCM under warranty at 33k per the VIN Check.... N
These trucks seem to hold up pretty well even when you work 'em hard!

Got on the road again, $454.50 , the coolant hose to the turbo, they did not even charge for the hose? $50.50 for coolant and $400 labor ,all looks good but I smelled coolant all day ,hope it is just left over. Got the Mclaren F1 delivered so all is well again.Gave her a nice pat on the dash and said "Good Truck" Happy Thanksgiving all !!!!! Carhauler.
