The best way to run a tune that you got from someone else is to script it to your stock tune. Scripting is also necessary when you get a tune that is a different OS than you currently have or your dealer updates your OS and you want to move your tune files up to the new OS. Scripting really isn't that hard once you've done it a time or two so here's a "how to" to help you get started.

Step 1.

Step 2. Open the performance tune that is the same OS as the stock file. (note, if you get a tune from someone that is a different OS, make sure you get the stock OS from them also so you can script it to your OS)

After saving, close the script window.

Step 6.
Now we are ready to script to your OS. Open your stock OS.
