What have you found that you would consider a must have tool? Tell us what you found and show us what you've got if you have pics.

I love my oil filter wrench. Its a Lisle 63250 3/8in. Drive Oil Filter Wrench 3-1/8 to 3-7/8in. I bought the first one in 1992 and have used it on every vehicle I've had since until I got my first diesel. The wrench wouldn't fit on the filter so I bought the next size up. They only have two sizes in these wrenches and I have both. Once you open the jaws and slide it on the filter you then use a 3/8 in. drive and the torque you apply to the tool while you are loosening the filter actually helps to clamp the jaws onto the filter tighter while you are turning it. I haven't had a problem with a filter since I bought this great tool. I've had neighbors borrow it and then go buy themselves one.

I want to know about the flywheel holder tool... DO you really need one for the water pump?

Yes. No other way to re-torque the balancer. Getting it back tight is mucho important. I found that out the hard way. ;)

I have a buddy that goit me some vice grips and you only adjust how hard you want to clamp, no matter whate size object if it will fit in the jaws just clamp it and its the same tension every time for something thin or large. No having to readjust.

Ill put up some pick later. I love em.

When you want to unbolt the bellhousing on [U]anything[U], a 3/8" drive universal socket on the end is a lot easier to work with than the 1/2". Oh yeah another necessary tool is a door panel puller.
