The LB7 Cheetah's are more expensive and I don't want anything to do with the Downpipe the LB7's have once it comes off it is going in the trash

4094.........It is a little bigger but is good for 650-675 RWHP with dual fuelers, probably high 500's without.

If you were to decide to go twins it is a good turbo.

JMHO

i had a 4094 on my lbz, spooled very quick and easy. ever had any track times on it. but very responsive and like said, is easy to make huge power with it.

I gotcha. I saw a 40/88 equipped lbz make 585hp on 37's and 22's. he'll be at the dyno event so you can take a look at it.

HiTech 66-71 will get you into 11s with the right amount of fuel. This turbo will spool alot faster than most too.

Alot of people seem to perfer the HTT to the Garret's any reason?

Its a good turbo, easy to have rebuilt and it is cheap. All the others are good turbos too. Just if you want good spool and still tow easy the s300 family is a good way to go.

HTT comes as a 66-71 but you can have it upgraded down the road as big as a 71-74 for 500-800 bucks.

Why don't you get either Tony's Moonshine tunes or Nicks tunes with efi? Both have alot of lb7 running 12's on #2 with stock turbos?

IMHO there is no comparison in chargers between the HTT and Garrets in this case Garret is the only way to go it has proven itself time and time again. The most popular one we have been selling is the 4094R. we also are in the process of releasing custom built chargers in the 2.6, 2.8 and 3.0 sizes. Built per application and per setup. Not off the shelf turbos.

Price factor and performance gains in the GT40 series turbo's really isnt not that bad when you break it all down.

There is not sled pulls here so I am not limited on my Charger size until I blow the motor.:(

I am still kicking it around seeing if any used ones pop up.

I kinda don't want to spend alot of money but then I don't want to out grow it either. I plan on getting pretty serious once I have it paid off and I have another vehicle I can drive if I blow it up

I think you'd be happy with the BD.
i'll keep an eye out.

I am seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on a used HTT kit that has a rebuilt turbo with the Stainless steel exhaust housing for $1900.

It all started with a used BD for $1200 that was a no brainer that I missed out on now I am on a mission to get a turbo

I don't want to be tempted to upgrade again later. Also after driving and riding in Brandon's truck after I got back in my truck it is way too smokey and it feels like a turd. It wasn't apparent how much better his truck performs till I got back in mine

What do you guys think?

I don't think I want to make a $2500 dollar plus investment right now so I think the Garrett's are out.

cant give you a price but everyone says its worth it. this is coming from guys that have ran it. i wouldnt think it would be very much

edit: i also talked to HTT and they said it would be cheaper to buy from a vendor rather then them just for a heads up.
