Ok ya'll, I think I get to make my first pull on the Dyno.. its a dynojet brand.
LBZ, 4" straight to 6" stack, PPE 225, Airbox Mod, Transgo Jr, egr blocked
what can I expect to make? 400/750?

what model dynojet? On one dynojet i made 410 horse with my race tune...on another dynojet i made 512..
id say 413/722, if im closest i win $1

I'll be sure to post here from my iPhone asap. Me and my buddy Kyle (trashygasman) will be pulling. And I think 2 of our Dodge buddies.
My truck and Kyles are exactly the same. Same mods, same everything, except I have a stack..):h
I want to make one pull in 4th with t/h on stock tuning, and one pull 4th t/h on with the PPE on 225. And then one more pull in OD on the 225. I hear the OD will show a 5-10% gain, but they are lying numbers..

correct 5th will show a gain, but is now at a .71 ratio compared to the 1:1.

Dont bother in 6th the trans wont hold it cuz 5th and 6th are so close. You need a 1:1 ratio for the numbers to be close. Some trucks need 5th to load the truck correctly and spool.

Well I made 425/825 with the PPE on lvl 4(225hp) .. Stock I made 308/637
So thats just some basic info, the 225 tune adds appx 125 rwhp.. this was consistent on 2 different trucks.
Im very happy with the numbers considering its still stock trans, and all I have for performance mods is a modded airbox, exhaust, and PPE tuner.. thats less then $800 for 125 extra HP.. Not too shabby..):h

i never dynod my 225 when i had ppe.
thats pretty good for stock, but 637 torque? stock is 650, not even ZF-6's do that, but thats still good numbers for the ppe!

Yeah 650 is stock, but thats still good, and no its not bad ):h
ive seen some rare lmm's same 320 stock hp.

KC - sounds good with the stack! How is it inside the cab - any drone? What diameter is it? the video makes it look like it sticks up above your roof quite a bit...

Yea John, It sticks up a good bit.. I need to lower it.. and will to just level with the cab. In the cab noise isnt bad.. 68-72 mph there is some drone, but I can talk on my iPhone no problems.. above 75mph its quiet.. and thats generally where I drive anyways.. lol
Its a 6" ceramic coated piece of steel. lol Homemade.. but I love it.

I was gonna ask ya'll too.. Did I not get a good reading? cause if you listen to the run, I floored it at about 57 mph, and Let off at 140 or so.. and it took about 1.7 seconds to get there.. Was I spinning tires on the dyno? To see what Im talking about, watch the first run of my video, it was my lvl 4 tune.. I go thru the gears, and then punch it.. I monitored my speed thru the run and noticed that it pegged VERy fast..
My stock tuning run did not do this, nor did Kyles lvl 4 PPE run.. and he made 10hp/20 more than I did..

Good run! I wonder what bthe PPE hot+2 ET would do? We dynoed a 01 dmax with EFI, FASS 150 and a trans Saturday. First pull made 477 and we got it all the way up to 498 by adding some fuel and timing plus smoothing a few other parameters out. Thanks to TurboTug and a "mystery tuner" for your help.

Well from all the runs I made, whatever the PPE tune claims, take 1/2 of that to the rear wheels.. lvl4 was supposed to be a 225 tune, but gave me 120 or so at the tires.. that being said, the 380 tune should put down near 500 with an LBZ with exhaust and intake..
