Welcome:Handshake:
Some pics would be nice;)
I stopped taking pictures a few months ago, some of these are almost a year old. Its painted, I can finally say (with Clydes help) it should run this weekend, its wet... got oil and water in it. Intake piping is done, need to run a little exhaust down and mount the hood. Then take it out for scaling and shocks.
When she starts and i get her into the light I'll take a bunch more and post 'em. Unless i have catastrophic failure at start... Then I'll hide!:(

A super guy... A human being, low key, humble, low timing tuner from Texas. Some people call him a Redneck Texan cause it's cute...kidding. Mick called him that... and far as i know it stuck.
His screen name is Mike here. He has been tuning Micks truck for over a year now.
He's done some stuff people said couldn't be done with a DMAX, he'll never admit to it though.

Welcome James! I look forward to hearing more about your S400 experiences with your race truck.
Don't worry Mike, your modesty is safe. You'll have to do more than tune trucks to get a bulls eye on your back around here :)

Mike is a good guy. It is always great to talk on the phone and listen to his stories. I have learned something every time I have talked to him.

Put a rod out the side couple of months ago, have a brand new built motor sitting here ready to go in with all the good gear. Have a SC up front blowing into a TC out the back in the bed. About to start the transplant this weekend. Just finished putting 6" lift in my 05, then it was getting my 71 running sweet, then it was finishing my 65/572. Now they are all done I have space on my lift and it will be all go. We are going to be looking for some big hp up around the 80+ psi. Motor was built by Curtis at Diesel Performance Research Wisconsin. Be a few weeks and should be going. Had some Wheels made 16x16 double beadlock to take slicks to try for some good times at track. Looking forward to seeing yours going - hell its been a while now. Good to see you here James

Good to hear about the built motor, nice. Curtis is certainly a step ahead.
You and Mike ran hours and hours on the dyno, hot laps around the block, broken shafts, testing etc at well over 7XX Hp as I remember.
On the stock bottom end... utterly impressive.:thumb:

Not much more to tell about the truck, I have splattered the sites with my BS.:naughty: You still interested in tuning the beast? She's close Mike, really close. fans work, oil and water is in her, replaced a bad battery, have shocks (no springs), intake done, exhaust needs a 90* and its done.
I could put a screen over the intake and start 'er up. BTW- My phone is at the shop... can't call you don't have numbers. Left the shop at 10pm last night I's tired.
Heck James, I didn't know I had a choice not to tune that thing. lol Give me a call when you are ready to roast some tires, but break the thing in a bit first. Later
