The LMM twin build is underway...... DMAXVAZ and me got quite a bit of fabrication done today. All the EGR and stock parts are off of the motor and I have the pass side LB7 up-pipe on. The turbo mount and hotpipe and tacked up and so far the progress has been smooth. Big thanks to DMAXVAZ for all the help!!!

Thanks Nick, yeah it looks like 60% are what I'm getting. I called Jim Bower at Extrude Hone today, but got voicemail and haven't heard back yet, probably tomorrow, I mean later today :duh:

Looks very nice, do you have a built motor or still stock? Any idea how much boost you want to make?

Stock motor, built one isn't going to happen until later this year. Under 50psi, I'm going to try and run a conservative tune to keep it together. Low PW, and twins should be a recipe for good EGT's. I have a 50mm wg that's going on also, so boost control shouldn't be too hard.

Welds looks great, coming along.

You ok with the heater core lines at the firewall? Not trying to step on your peepee, just learnin'

I wanna do one as well.:)

How's this for an airfilter?

I'm not too worried about the heater line's. All the exhaust is going to be coated, and wrapped with some badass thermal blankets.

Here's a better pic, to put the filter size in perspective.....5", it's big

Nice. that'll work, I did the same (wrapped) on my downpipe and it hasn't melted them yet. I was speaking to tolerances though, looked like the sweep out of the hot side of the top charger is really close, perhaps not allowing enough room to get around it.

Rock on Dude, thats a sweet project.:thumb:

Here's a couple pics of the elbow I'm using for the intake of the stock turbo, and a shot of the start of the downpipe.

Update...wastegate will be done tomorrow. Hopefully the intake to the stock turbo will be completed also.

Here's an update on the boost pipe between turbos........I have to use painter tape to hold pipes for now because my argon for the tig welder needs to be refilled.......will be welded up later today......This pipe is 3.5" aluminum and is going to be polished up nicely ):h
