Steve and I logged his race tune to see if his FPRV is leaking and sending back fuel to the pump/tank. Give me your thoughts. steve if you have the race tune copy it and post it up if you want.
heres the log.
Mainly look at desired and rail pressure.

Keep in mind that my FPRV is not shimmed. At times we saw a desired 23k psi and the actual was 19k.

biggest difference i saw was at 25 mph and 3400rpm. desired was 23,061psi and accual rail psi was 18,572.
The truck holds 23K psi just fine from the final shift on. I would say there's an issue with the pulsewidth command being too aggressive for the fuel system on the truck. It's unable to recover after initial hammer dropage until RPM toilets on the last shift. Pulse-width wasn't logged here so I can't say for sure. I would look at B1010 and pulsewidth tables. In the future I'd log throttle position and fuel pressure regulator amperage in mA.
Please be respectful of your tunes builder when considering posting tune files,
Nick

nick,
How does it hold 23k? the 23k was being commanded???
Look at frames 84-113. I get an average actual fuel pressure of 22988 for those frames.

I would say that from the final shift on is where it actually starts to feel strong.
Thats what its always felt like. It does its thing and then as soon as its in 5th, it takes off like a rocket.

For a truck on stock gearing and 37's/20's it hauls the mail pretty dang good.
