hey i was considering about putting 19.5 rims on my truck but i dont even know where to begin to find these and who if anyone i could go through to get even the slightest discount. they need to be dually rims and if possible do they make spacers for these rims? id like to have the big rig style 10 lug or however many they have but if the 8 lug are cheaper sign me up for that set. any tips or thoughts would be helpful:confused:

I'm moving this to the dually section since it's dually specific...

Okay.
First switching out to the 10 lug will require adapters. You might want to look up american force wheels. They sell adapters and wheel/tire/adapter packages. They are expensive.
I looked into going the 22.5 route but I tow heavy and at the end of the day, I didn't feel comfortable with the adapters. I've seen pics of failed adapters and I couldn't imagine if that happened while I was towing my 5er. Not worth it to me although, I do still prefer the "big rig" look.
I went with direct bolt on 19.5's. Don't get too excited, they are still expensive. I really like them though. I think they look good, I have a huge load rating with the "F" rated tires, and no adapters.
There are a few companies that make direct bolt on 19.5's. Eagle alloys is what I went with. They have the classic alcoa style which is what I like. You are going to need to get steel inners. Rickson truck http://www.ricksontruck.com/ is the only place I found that makes them with the correct hub bore. Make sure you get hubcentric inner steels or you will have a vibration you can't get rid of.
Here are some links to help you out. Good luck!
http://www.budnik.com/ makes nice looking rims. Also www.brentzwheels.com or http://www.americanforcewheels.com/ http://www.aewheel.com/wheels.cfm?id=4

holy crap thanks for all the info and the quick reply. i was figuring on the adapters for the 10 lug and didnt know how strong they were, the eight lug is fine and still has somewhat the big rig look. and i definatly do not want any vibration. the tires i was hoping for were the bridgstone mud/snow tread are you familiar with these, and just a side question how often have you had to change tires. with that kind of tire being designed for a heavy rig such as a semi to last for a good while not sure how long that if you put them on a truck weighing considerably less they would last even longer. what are your thoughts.

I've had them on about 20K miles. My rears are wearing out pretty fast but I'm sure it has more to do with my 500rwhp daily driver tune and my heavy foot than anything else...):h

I want to get the MKW 19.5. They are very light and let you run 6 aluminum wheels.:thumb:
