My little fuel primer plunger is leaking air/fuel and I have it pinned down to an o-ring at the top of the assembly. The only part I can get from the dealer is the whole assembly for $400 or find an alternative or replacement for the o-ring. RTV sealant would be an easy solution if there is one that is diesel resistant. Any ideas?

Bummer.
Not sure i understand the o-ring part, are you in SoCal? I have a filter/plunger thingy you can have for $399... kidding.
I have one from my LLY, never leaked, not using it.
As for a fix, you can take the o-ring down to ACE Hardware (IIRC) and try and match it up. I never used any from ACE, I dug through the transmission boxes and found a match for every o-ring i needed. As for Diesel compatible sealer, wasn't aware RTV wasn't or isn't. I prefer and used the gray hi torque stuff i like the way it stands up and doesn't get a skin as fast. I used it everywhere on my truck, no leaks to date.
Good luck Dude.

.59 o-ring fixed her right up. Seems to idle a little better now too.
