S&B Intake Wow

I just finished installing the S&B Intake all I can say is WOW it woke up this Gt4094R Egt's dropped 100 degrees boost swung past 40 in the higher gears and it seems to pull harder the only problem is the turbo is even easier to bark now.):h

I would definetly recommend it.:thumb:

Make sure you have the right lug nut sizes. I used my "keyed" lugs and they started to eat away the metal on the rim.

It will look funny, but i was cutting low 1.7 60's with them and 36psi front and 32psi back @ speedworld.

I was ill prepared I was not able to change out the tires because I didn't bring anything to take the lugnuts off

I didn't bring any meth so I had to put in straight water

I never got a decent launch and I need traction bars bad!!!!!

I lost 1-2 mph and I am not sure why. I still stand by the S&B Intake.

We tried to do a log but it didn't work it kind of felt a little slower in the last eigth mile maybe some tuning changes need to be made

I think the best time was a 12.8 @106

The S and B intake is a nice kit but the guys with bigger turbos surely don't need to use the pre-filter. It will restrict the air flow significantly. Also it could use a larger intake tube when using larger turbos.
