How beneficial would it be to do a bag o parts kit to a stock lbz cp3?Could it handle 60% over injectors without the mod and proper tuning?

I would not do injectors on a stock or modded LBz cp3 unless you were trying to do it for longevity purposes. First, are you holding rail pressure with the tune you have? What tune are you runing? If your NOT holding rail pressure then a modded pump may help to get the psi back. If you add injectors your going to make it drop rail psi again and it will be a PITA to tune with a stock turbo. IMO

On a stock motor you won't be happy with th 60 over injectors. Modified pump with the stock sticks it will work great. If you run EFI live you can tune it properly but can't make it work right without.

I have a built motor with tts rods, cut and coated lb7 pistons and a cam from dpr,and a 68mm danville stage 2 with efi tuning from Mark.

How fresh is your cp3? If it is a fairly new pump or has minimal amount of miles on it I would run it with the 60 over injectors and see what happens. I think you would be pretty surprised what the out come would be. You wont see the full potential of the injectors but its worth a shot IMHO. If you find out your not getting the results you are looking for I would step up to a twin fueler setup or do our stage one cp3. for a single application. I dont believe the bag of parts deal is really worth the time and effort. If you going to go after 600 hp which it looks like your build is easily worth a shot at it. You dont want to go into your pump more then you have to.

My truck had 77k when it went southh.Just got it up and running last week.Still have a few things to work out.Thinking I might have a problem with an injector or two so might as well have them upgraded at the same time.600hp is the first goal and then we will go from there.

We have very similar builds. I run lbz cp3 twins. I run 40 over injectors. You can do quiet a bit with those injectors. If this is a daily driver you probably will want to stay with the smaller percentage over injectors. It will be easy to get over the 600hp range.

You should be able to get over 600hp with stock injectors very easy.

Now that you informed us of all your mods it a whole new ball game. Just do the twin CP3 or a stroker pump with some good nozzles and be done with it.

When we do injectors we make sure that they are all flowed before and after the new nozzles and complete match set with flow sheets to show. Its never fun to do things twice. In the last year we have seen A LOT of guys put on new nozzles and call it good then have all kinds of tunning issues and end up chasing there tails. Most injector shops claim to fame is you installed wrong, you had dirty fuel etc etc. when you have an actual sheet that you can go back on for proof its well worth the time and effort to have it done.

600 can be done on stock nozzles and pumps but takes life off all parts involved.

That is a fine way to do things, I'm impressed! What is involved in flow checking the injectors?
