Drag racing advice? I need some! :lol:

I went to a local track this weekend and ran my truck for the first time. I ran my own tuning and keeping in mind, my race weight was right at 8K lbs and I'm a CC dually with 33" tires, I think I did pretty good.

On my best run I cut a .239 light, 2.01 60' and 14.50 quarter mile at ~97MPH. Of about 35 trucks there that night, I only saw 4 - 5 faster than me, and none were dually's :D

It was a lot of fun. :thumb:

I wasnt very good at starts either til I read Pat and Rats advice. Rob helped with suspension setup and other mechanical questions I had.

That was IdahoRob that helped with the drag racing. I don't want to take credit for his hard work but thanks for the welcome. I run his EFILive tunes and he's helped our local diesel club. We run Friday night club racing at Firebird Raceway. In fact, the Idaho Turbo Diesels are currently number one in the points... :thumb:
