Saw your pictures... that deal must spool... NOW! Genius ideas there good buddy.

How'd you get the charger so high?

Thanks James for the compliments. I built a pedestal to raise the charger and turn it towards the passenger side. This also helped with the larger down pipe install. The ride has been fun for sure.

I didn't make the track Saturday. We only got the truck running an hour before the track was closing and I live at least 45 minutes from there. Oh well, now I get some tnt time on the street which will allow for some improvement time as well.

It's a huge difference running the cog belt versus the serpentine, made the boost now even more possible.

45 minutes... would that be for a normal vehicle or your truck??? I bet you could have made it in half that time):h

Mike (iirc) has a Larry Jewell model fence post remover/deer killer ):h

Bring on the poles... just keep it under 120 mph... over that they flip over the bumper and hit the hood.:thumb:

Any SOTP report or you still workin' on the bugs, if any?

Nothing at the moment. Just trying to clean up the installation. I'll get some times soon. How's your truck going with the charger install?

Larry's truck is pulling mine and yea, we dodge the same deer around here. Fence posts to... ):h

Sounds good James, hope to see that truck up and running soon.

Well my truck died coasting to a stop at an intersection. Come to find out I let a loom of wires touch boost tube and be melted through plastic and wire insulation. Shorted all wires together going to ecm. I had not realized the wire loom had been touching...... Wow, 70 pounds of boost can get pretty darn hot during the making.... Live and learn. :the gas:

that FUC+*NG sucks Dude... I'm so sorry.

I got a bunch extra 1" insulated flex/tubing, reflective tape/panels need some? Can we move your fuse box back 4" and create some more room to drop the loom from motor to power lower? I should say it'll work will it help? That other battery on the drivers side isn't needed anyway right? "Ju dunt needz nomo powdr dood ju scotty? ):h

Oh ya, gotta have the power.....

It's probably going to be easier to build new boost piping to the CaC... :thumb:

Oh well for now, it's running. I just moved the ECM...):h

70lbs of boost):h sounds like you are going to need some water injection to keep things cool. I learned the hard way how hot boost pressure can get......it will literally burn the paint off the underside of your hood-:t

And a good super it was. But, I remember feeling bad due to my bill. I just had to have two orders of ribs.... Were those good or what? So I remember chipping in a bit to cover my inconsideration.... ):h

No kids this time though, may have my wife along. :thumb:
