Garrett Part # 773542-1? Anyone have the lowdown on this?? I saw it posted somewhere else, but can't find it now.:(

Rick I just sold the stage 2 the week before to a guy and we should have some track and dyno numbers soon,Also there is a member on Pats site that installed one and injectors but he's running a stock trans so not sure if that will give us any good feed back.

84 lbs/min at 42 psi boost is what I have seen. Very streetable. Nice whistle - if ya like jets):h

Yes I have a stock tranny still. I actually thought my tranny would crap out before my engine. 2.5 years and 70 hooks plus 58000 miles - not bad I guess.

I placed right behind EDP's red GMC at the two pulls I went to. I think he only beat me by less than 5 ft each time. I may be wrong on the ft, but it was close. Built trans would probably help on launch. Traction bars are still on my short list when I get my truck back.

Tuned one yesterday. That wheel has noticeably more inertia than the stocker. I'll second the whistle and the MAF numbers to support the 84lbs Knagel mentions. In our application, the turbo balanced well around 31-35lbs of boost (depending on RPM).

The truck I tuned was an LMM with 60% over nozzles, it would pull strong to 4000RPM when asked. The compressor map (http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbo_kits/turbo_kit_pdfs/Duramax_AVNT_Stage_II.jpg) seems to support that this is a high-flow/lower boost wheel. Overall I'm very happy with how the truck turned out.

Just talked to Dan today and they made a twin kit using that turbo or maybe a 4755 can't remember. I think this turbo has some major capablities. Sorry Rod............... Think I'm gonna keep the turbo after what I have heard from Dan that's in the pipeline for this thing.:hello:;)

I was considering a 3.0 s400 then twining it next year, but with whats coming for this 4094vn I think I'm sticking with it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knagel, did you get that turbo and tuning from justin cradure by any chance? Just curious because I know he had sold one or two and was tuning for one also.

I think he did most of the tuning himself. I could be wrong. Usually am. Just ask my wife.):h

Mike that turbo Justin got was thru me since i'm a PPE dealer.He helps me with the tuning so I hooked him up with that turbo while on vaction in the Pa mountains.I also will have pricing on the twin kit that knagel is talking about in a few weeks there finishing them up.

Henry you should get those guys to post up. I know the story Because i was going to buy one from Justin. If you get Justin and the guys to post some numbers maybe you can sell a couple more.

Heck with the garrett twin it with a S480
