Heres two pics for ya...
Wednesday AM...
Wednesday PM...
Stock trans was done. done. Would barely move. about 2 pounds of clutches on the OEM pan magnet and another 2 pounds on the spin on filter. internal filter looked like it was dipped on motor oil for 2 years, it was bad.
Little trip from chandler, az to kingman, az.
430 miles. took 9 hours.
1 blowout on trailer....wonder why..

2k overloaded, and only one set of trailer brakes working properly, I need to fix this POS trailer.
thinking about adding 6k axels and 8lug aluminum gm wheels...

Had to be damn near free to haul it all the way up there..
I have a huge thanks to Tim @ Automatic Transmission Rebuilders With no questions, I will never take another trans anywhere else.... Well worth that drive.

Nope, had 1" of clearance on both sides for the back. Would have had to driver over the fenders if we loaded it on front ways.

You need a lot more trailer if you are going to keep hauling trucks. Bet it drove nice too with all that weight way back on the trailer.;)

I know, seriously lol.
accually it drive pretty good like that. We had 1k of trannies in the bed so that helped quite a bit.

He did, but the seller wasnt truthful to him and it turned out to be junk.

Valvebody has cracks in it, clutches looked like they were handpainted by a 6 year old, and steels looks like they were a example of how not to weld. ):h

Brian, im pretty sure the guy Nemo bought the trans from told Nemo it needed to be rebuilt. It needed a TC too.
I know ATS told Nemo they would rebuild the trans and install it with a brand new 3 disc TC for around 2k. Thats a pretty good deal if you ask me;)

Its not that hard to drive up one day, get it rebuilt and installed the next day, then drive back. It would prob be cheaper to drive the 1400 mile round trip then to ship the trans there and back....

The rebuild by ATS doesn't sound like a bad deal though. As long as Nemo wan't expecting a good tranny then it is no big deal, but if he got hosed he needs to speak up
