tonight we will be installing a suncoast 5 into my friends LBZ....question...in my garage i have some tranny fluid left over from a sale i had here, what would be best to use amsoil "super shift racing transmission fluid" or amsoil "torque-drive synthetic tranny fluid" i dont deal with many tranny fluid customers here so thats why im kinda lost on that subject of fluid for the tranny

the racing fluid says its for Allison c-4
the torque-drive says it for Allison tes-295 and is a replacement for tranSynd

I don't see why not. Are you installing the deeper pan?. I did and I went through about 7 gallons of transynd.

yes deep pan to, all we have is 8 gallons of the torque-drive left, i guess we better not spill none

use trq drive, mix and match I do not recomend

im gonna run full trq drive, we just got the old tranny out, takin a beer break and gonna slide the sunny 5 in, thanks guys for the replies

well, he called me, everything is running good, he is running PPE's 425hp tune.....gonna break it in today and tomorrow, Monday afternoon were gonna change the spin on and see what she's got!

we even got free stickers!!! the only problem we have ran into is a small leak on tranny line, hope thats the only thing!!
