Are all pedistalls created equally ? i have been thinking about this since i ported out my pedistall . if you think about it every ounce of flow the motor will ever make has to flow through the pedistall . so whats the skinny do they all flow the same ? do the tube style flow more than the cast ?

I would sure love to have access to a flow bench or some kind of pressure testing device to help you answer this question. I'm sure everyone can guess my opinion. ;)

I think that tall tubular style are going to flow the best, especially if they are made from the same tubing as your headers and up-pipes.

I would think that uniform runners that match up with the up pipe sizing Would flow much better. The only way to get that is to make it in form of a tubular pedestal.

That's what I was saying. If you already have Rick's headers and up-pipes having him make you a pedestal would be best - the tubing matches your up-pipes.

I agree that running the same brand would be best.
Rick, are your pipes larger than the opening of a T4 flange?
