I've got one, really like it too. Runs silent and I like the fact that its belt driven. Only con that I've found is extra clutter under the hood. I'd like to get a pressure gauge to figure out what I'm running throughout the RPM range, kind of curious.
They seem to be hard to get a hold of which may be why there aren't too many people running them, I know more dodge guys are running them than on the duramax's though.

yes, i here more dodge guys run them, and they swear by Opie's pump, can you explain a little bit about the pump? and where do you mount it? how hard was it to mount? just trying to learn more about the pump

The pump flows more as RPM's go up so at idle there isn't as much pressure as the electric pumps have. It sucks the fuel from the stock fuel filter housing and pushes it through the added 2 micron perma cool filter then to the CP3. Here are some pics of my setup, it comes as a kit with everything needed. Opie is in Federal Way, WA which is actually like 2hrs from me.

awesome! almost looks like a mini dual cp3 wheel!
looks like a lot of plumbing, how long was instillation time?

Yeah you can actually use these with a second CP3 in that location if you want too.
I did it with IdahoRob since I didn't have a shop at the time, together it took us right around an hour I think. He used to have one so that's why I asked for his help, I got it used and didn't come with directions. Normal install time is around 2-3hrs I think.
Mine had 3yrs use on it when I got it and so far I've got 5 months or so use out of it, they don't go bad from what I hear.

has to be true since theirs no electronics, and ive also seen that IdahoRob swears by them, so that must be saying something
do you still have the factory fuel filter, or are you using just the filter that come with the pump?

Yeah I've still got the factory fuel filter, the pump pulls the fuel from it.
There is also a regulator in the return line that you can shim for more pressure, I took the shim out though since I didn't need the extra pressure. Maybe some day I will.

thanks man, one more thing, i see that the filter is pretty close it the wheel, any issues with that??
Dmax15

No there are no issues at all. I was wondering the same thing before I got it but it easily misses the tire even when I had 33's before. The bottom of the filter sits a hair lower than the bottom of the bumper, I don't have the spacer that the GMC's have in there otherwise it would be hidden better.

Anybody have one of these with dual CP3's? I'd like to see some pics.

Wonder what the possibility would be to run just the pump. I already have a filter under the bed and have eliminated the OE filter from the system. I really need something to out do these TTS pumps.

I'd take your whole setup off as a unit if you're looking to go to MITUSA. The filter and housing for the permal cool setup is like $40 or something and can withstand 60 psi IIRC while filtering to 2 micron. It might be best to run one filter after the pump instead of two before it. The price of these kits is similar to the original air dog prices.

as in; the pumps and the underbed filter? What was the cost? Looks like the permacool filter has a water drain on it too.

Yes I'd remove the pumps and the filter. Cost for the whole kit is around $500.

Dmax15 have you got a fuel pressure gauge yet??:D

Haha no I wish. I've got a list of stuff and it may be a few months before that happens. Subman may be the guy to talk to for figuring out lift pump PSI throughout the RPM's. I'm almost positive he has used them with a gauge.

hopfully he will bump in here sometime!!! would like to know the PSI threw the RPM range!

IIRC he said ~15psi but don't quote me on that. I'm sure that can vary with tuning, stock or modded CP3, and what size regulator shim you are using in the return line.

I used to have one, it was awesome. 15 PSI throughout the RPM range with the regulator untouched. The reason I got rid of it was I put on dual C's and didn't have time to wait for the bracketry. I don't know one will work on a LBZ, LMM however. We tried to put mine on an LBZ but it wouldn't fit, it needed a shorter belt. The belt looks like it's meant for a super charger on a riding lawn mower and i didn't know where to start looking for one.
