Took Max's Out to the track yesterday and tested the new engine and twin turbo setup. After a bit of tweaking it ran 10.5 130+ on 25% less fuel than the tune we used to set the NHRDA SuperStreet in March. 90 lbs of boost and around 96lbs of drive pressure and egt's about 400 degrees cooler than the last setup. Egt's will go up as we add fuel, but this is a great setup. Little tougher to spool, but doable. Will take back to the track today and maybe turn up the power a bit.;)

That is incredible! Should be interesting once you give it some more fuel:thumb:

Nathan went 10.2x today with just a tad more fuel, launch is still a problem very easy to blow off the tires. Best 60 with this setup so far is 1.63. I managed a 300+ ft 4x4 total burn out on my first lauch yesterday, boost got away from me and I launch with something close to 50 lbs of boost. I don't feel too bad, Nathan has some problems today with that himself.

Sounds like they might have to remove the front fenders to fit the bigger slicks.):h

This is the latest and I think last setup. Running 25% less fuel and producing much more power. We decided after we get a bit ahead of ourselves with the last build we'd take our time this go around. This is the setup Nathan was always talking about. I think he was right. Serious power and serious quick spool for something that will make 120 psi of boost if we decide to fuel it.

Last setup? Man I wish I had a dolar for every time I've said that. 25% less fuel and more power - thats gotta be good for the environment - (and those driving behind) Great job there by the way :thumb:

Now come on Ken you changed the motor a little too with the charger change. None the less you guys are running great and its going to be great fun if we can get MAxed Out and Buck side by side on the drag strip.

I mentioned the new engine in my first post. These heads are more tricked up than the first set for sure, I sure these probably flow better. Other than the block being filled in this one, the engines are the same except for the heads. We'd love to run Buck, hopefully this next year.
