I first tried clearing up running out of fuel with fuel still left in the tank with a billet pickup, this didnt work, it even magnified the problem. This is the reason why, the pickup tube split and was not even attached to the billet pickup. No wonder my fuel pressure gauge danced so much :thumb:

The last time I ran out of fuel I was pulling out of my garage and it died, the Fass pump was not even on, I flipped the kill switch at 150 miles. It died with just 200 miles on the odometer. It took only 18 gallons of fuel to fill the tank up, meaning that with 8 gallons of fuel in the tank I was stil "SOL"

This was the fix. I used a Hellman Sump drawing fuel from the bottom of the tank and I used the Fass drawstraw as the return from the Fass pump. The factory return is still in the stock location. The drawstraw now returns fuel to the bottom of the tank rather than dumping in from the top via the filler neck. This was done with a new fuel tank and was cranked and idled with a little less than 4 gallons of fuel in the tank with the Fass pump running, this is something that was not possible with the old setup.

Nice job. Putting the fuel return where you did might help to reduce foaming as well.
