You might need to talk to Dan at PPE, but I'm not sure how you got the other guys tune.

They don't work on more than one truck at a time. In order for you to load any tune, he would have had to return his truck to the stock tuning first. Try to load a different tune. If it doesn't work he probably still has a tune loaded...

You may have to go to the dealer and have them flash it back.

I would think it would have vin checked and failed to do anything. Is there anything else unusual that happened?

You need to talk to PPE and get the original truck turned back to stock and get your module reset.
It works this way so that one person cant buy the progremmer and use it on all of his buddys trucks.
You need to download and program a stock tune with either a stock EFI Live tune from DP, or get the truck to the dealer and have them reflash it with a stock tune.

Nothing happened to your truck.
Is the previous owner of the PPE near you? If so, hook it up to that truck, put it back to stock, then load a tune to yours.
Other wise you will have to send it back to PPE so they can unlock it for you to use.
