My service airbag light is on all the time now, any ideas what might cause this? Also, my steering wheel controls dont work anymore. Could these be connected problems? Any one have any idea how to fix these?

When did the problem start? Did you do anything that might have caused it?

Well it started when I put the motor back in. The truck sat in the yard for 8 months.:( When I put the motor back in both the problems started.

We did disconect the steering shaft while test fitting headers. With the predator I have no codes. Would efi show some that it didnt?

EFI should also show the "Bxxxx"codes. There is a coil can in the column that the air bag hooks into. As I understand it, if you over spin the can, you ruin it.

yes fingers is correct.
I did the same thing to my truck when I worked on my glow plugs. The code would read something like "front drivers airbag XXXXX"
