Ok so now that the truck is running again, I'd like to get a couple of gauges to keep track of some of the vitals... EGT, Trans, maybe boost just because... I'd also like to get a real gauge for water temp and maybe a rail pressure eventually. Right now just the three...
To say that I don't trust the factory gauges is an understatement.
So far my search has turned up various prices... I'd like to support a vendor that is sponsored here... So far Empire is looking the best, what do you guys suggest?

If you have an idea of what gauges you want, you can post them up here and get prices from our vendors.

Where is the 12v switched and dash light 12v wires... I see a buch of fuses I could tap for 12 switched but where do I get the dash light since it looks like the dash lights are powered off the board on the back of the gauge cluster. I have the under hood stuff mounted, got the A-pillar mount trimmed, painted and fitted... just need to hook up power and having a "momentary loss of synapse response" (brain fart)

I got the signal for gauge lights directly from the headlight switch.

Green connector on the back of light switch module.
black wire with a white stripe in the upper right corner is instrument cluster dimmer 12v, I went from there to a ground stud uner the dash... my gauges dim with the instrument cluster.

Drilled the drivers side manifold this morning... hell of a lot easier than I had anticipated... taping it SUCKED because there is NO room to put a T-handle on the tap, had to run it in with a small cresent.
Also found 12v switched in the fuse block... what the hell is "RRwiper" cause it had a fuse in it but when I pulled it nothing happened so I used it to power the EGT gauge...

Rear wiper ?
:confuzeld:
I checked, but could not find a wiper on the back window... it's swiched 12v so I used it.
