Programmers like PPE, bullydog, diablo, hypertech...
What have you used and what did you think?

Predator and a Quadzilla (old one).
The Predator is on the 40 tune stacked with the VA230 daily driver tune.
The Quadzilla I loan-out and used for tranny codes.
Also have EFILive. So far I'm just using it to monitor stuff...

Before efi i used a ppe. Upgraded it everytime until they stopped with the hot+2 ET. I wouldnt have any other tuner. It put my truck in high 12's with the stock turbo and full weight. It pulled very good too.

Have the edge and very satisfied with it....shift on the fly capability and like seeing what's going on without getting too power crazy ;)

Started out with a Diablo Predator which was good (i could take the edge juice guys with it) then later stacked a edge on it. Ran the edge alone and was ok. Then got the PPE which was the best. I ran the PPE on low timing with the edge for a while. Ran the PPE with the duramaximizer stacked (That was the same as the edge/PPE stack IMO) Then):h I stacked the duramaximizer/PPE hot+2 and the edge all together for fun and it was rock, RATTLE and roll):h Sold it all and got EFI tunes now. Ive also tried Bullydog (i thought it was poop) Van aaken smartbox 220hp (was a good tune) and Quadzillas 215 tuner (was a decent tune but not as good as Van aaken's)
IMO PPE hot +2 was hands down the most power/smoke but surged alot and had choppy gear shifts.
Best bang for the buck was Diablo Predator 120hp tune.
IMO save your self the money, buy a hand held V2 and have some tunes built for a couple hundred bucks.

First time i ran a 12 sec #2 fuel only pass was in Denver. I had a PPE hot+2 (low timing) stacked with a edge on #2. Maybe you should try it!):h
I love trying diff tunes out. When peaple ask what i think of this one or that one i can give a honest opinion and not a BS answer.

I have a Hypertech. The service manager at the local Chevrolet dealer sells them, and promises not to void the warranty with the Hypertech. Power is better, but I don't like the way the ally shifts at times with it. Also, did not help my mileage. I have heard that the Predator gives the best fuel mileage.

Forgot to mention, I run level three. I don't do stand on the throttle runs, so have never had any trouble with the trans. I will drop to level two for any long trips pulling a trailer.

I have the ats e-power now, but since my truck was new I always had a hypertech. I loved the hypertech, never a problem with it but I felt like a upgrade was due so I got the e-power. Been runnin it for about a week and all I can say is WOW!

I had a 6-gun on my 03 and it was good, but absolutely no bottom end. I started with a Predator on my 06 the 120 tune was a good race tune but my truck never shifted good on that level, the 85 setting was my favorite. I sold the Predator and go a PPE HOT+2 ET, now my truck is a vette killing beast):h
