You really shouldn't have any of the problems you describe from installing a blocker plate...

Maybe it's throwing some kind of 06 LLY specific code?

thats what i thought i was gunna change out all my tranny filters and put the trans go shift kit in on monday and see if that would help cuz it seriously felt like my tranny was the culprit but once i removed the plate everything was fine and i have the ppe so it should block all my egr codes and my i never got any check engine lights i even tried to check with my ppe and my insight and nothing

Would say you have an exhaust leak causing a problem building boost, BUT I know for a fact if don't have the bolts tight enough of the plate isn't seated right you will be able to tell (you'll hear the most annoying exhaust leak of your life)

i just completely removed it awhile back but i never heard a leak at all and it made a good seal from what i saw on the plate still no idea why it acted like that
