Just a word of advise, don't use B20 when racing!!! i thought there was some thing wrong with my truck. loaded my tune 5 times and still could not run the same times as back home??? Then realized after 6 times down the track what i did! Sucks being me driving 5 hrs one way just to run on a 1/4 mile track to find out it was wasted. but I'm in the 12's!!!!:thumb:

Not sure if any altitude change from arkansas to oklahoma? But just a week or two before I was running the 8th in 8.0 and the 1000ft in 10.3 and couldn't get to close to those times. The only thing I could think of was the Bio. Bio fuel says on the pump that it has 20% less cetane or something to that effect? Not sure, maybe just a bad day at the track!

Interesting, we ran I think B15 by mistake last summer for a tank and didn't show much if any difference. I also use a cetane boost additive however.

I'm running again this weekend(28th) so I see if there was any difference.

B99 what is that? 99% bio or 1% bio? The sticker at the pump said made with 20% bio. So I'm pretty sure it would not be as combustable as #2 only.

B99 is 99% bio. I run B100 (100% bio) and there is about 7% power loss with it.

FWIW,
No. 2 diesel has 140,000 BTU/Gal
B20 diesel has 138,000 BTU/Gal
B100 diesel has 130,000 BTU/Gal
Meaning:
B100 is ~7.69% loss of power over straight dino diesel
B20 is ~1.45% loss of power over straight dino diesel
