Not sure where this should go, so if need be moved, please move :)

Well it has officially been one year ive had my dmax (yay!). So I thought i would give a small review so far. Please bear with somethings that might be missing as i just got back from being on the road for 18hrs straight ):h.

Bought it @ 132,xxx miles and 421.x hrs

one year later: 207,198 miles and 4555.x hrs

Note: I tote a reefer box and have a compressor to keep the box cold (have had it below zero a few times just to see how low it can go, but it is a bit much for the compressor).

anyway, sofar i have been through one set of tires, one alternator, two batteries, a water pump, 40+gal of oil, and countless other fluids, filters and the like.

I have had sofar, a few refrigerated service vehicles, nothing, and i mean nothing has taken a beating and laughed at it like this truck has. Bloody incredible. I know i probably dont beat the pants off this truck as much as some of you other guys might, but she sees her share of loads: anywhere from 700 gallons of milk to multiple pallets worth of jar salsa, soda, endless crates of fresh salsa, etc...

Never thought i would be a truck guy until i test drove it, the powerstrokes always turned me off to driving anything off #2, until i got into something done properly (IMHO).

mods err sorta:
me-fabbed 5" intake
me-fabbed 3.5" exhaust
de downpipe
bd manifold
afe Hot side boost t00b
ppe trans cooler
mag hytec trans pan
amsoil bypass filter
nicktane 1 micron kit (man these filters can take a beating)
extra bar of steel in the rear plus roadmaster kit (courtesy of denver spring and suspension)
magnets everywhere....
and she gets 4oz. of redline rl-3 everytank (best ive used sofar)

tires: 265/75/16 big o bigfoots(awesome tire)

constantly putting off installing: ppe fuel pickup

coming in the mail soon:
paul's (turbobuick6) 3.5" turbo inlet and egr delete pipe :thumb:

looking at next:
diff cover
guages
intercooler
uppipes
tank container to recieve/store gdiesel (its gAnGsTa DiEsEl, lol)
rear locker
better front hub/bearing assy
socal damper
trans/billet flexplate/tq conv/c3 oiler

anyway, I welcome any/all input.

thank you guys for an awesome site and great bunch of folks :thumb:

Wow, that is some miles. You've even had some time to do a bit of work on it also. Just a thought, I wonder if you'd go good putting this in the Blog Central section. You could have a little writeup ever so often as well, kinda keep the thread up to date. :thumb:

Thanks for sharing.

hrmm, sounds like a grand idea. I guess from building and racing ricegrinders to managing a fleet of service vehicles under my own discretion :whoohoo: wasnt too far of a leap ):h
