New best 1/8th pass

Dad called me at work last night with his results from test-n-tune at OBX. This was the first time since I did the tranny. His best run was an 8.00. Last year's best was an 8.24. Pretty nice, I thought.

I'll get the slip from him in the next day or 2. He leaves the line pretty soft because of the Michelin 265's, I've gotta find him some slicks to try on her.

Well, I guess I should have turned the bulldozer off to talk on the phone. I got the slips from dad today and got disappointed, but not much. I wrote down the best two passes:

330 ft.: 5.2171
1/8 ET: 8.0871
MPH: 85.05

RT: .1559
60 ft.: 1.8011
330 ft: 5.2520
1/8 ET: 8.1449
MPH: 84.43

These passes were made with a pro tree, which he had never run before, without a spare tire or tailgate, and with three kids in the backseat!

Thanks Jess, I'll have to do that. I think his truck does good for what it is, but there is some time to be had at the tree.
