Hey Dave...nice trailer. It's a monster compared to my little tow behind Sand Piper 21', although I hardly notice it's back there most of the time.

Thanks. Now you know why I have a dually... although it did pretty well at the track too. ):h

Yeah it did ! I was kinda shocked at how well it did (first diesel drag race observed). Maybe next time I will make a few passes with mine. It was good to see lifted trucks like mine running down the track with good times....has me thinking....HMMM

05smoker,
How does the load handle with the over the tire trailer like that? Is it top heavy at all say compared to a pan trailer with the wheels on the side?

Its big enough for a weekend, but small enough to pass highway traffic HEE !! HEE !!! Can you believe that I fit two quads and our EZ Go golf cart in this with room for a third quad ??

I look at that first pic and I feel....so......inadequate.
This is all I tow: Jayco 25ft TT and a little green 1942 David Bradley 1 1/2yd utility trailer.
Occasionally, I tow other vehicles for friends.
Ever drive 75-80mph through heavy Cincinnati traffic on I-75 towing a trailer? I have. Scary as hell. Merchant is nuts.

Surprisingly well for what you'd think for a 20 footer. We knew pretty much where to put it after a few times and it rode fine (learned the hard way a couple times too). Still want air bags for mine. Funny thing was his regular cab seemed to tow mine nicer that me towing his???

Airbags were the best addition for my truck and towing uses. I opted not to get the on board compressor. Now I use my train horn compressor to air up the bags too. The compressor is also hooked up to a coiled air hose with a chuck for tire fill-ups.

Well she's not working here on summer vacation. She works in the winter towing snowmobiles.

Nice looking truck Bill. I prefer dark trucks but the dealers in Arizona think people only want white. When I was looking for my '07, there were only 3 in the entire state that were loaded the way I wanted. White, White, and you guessed it.... White. I got white.:(

Not sure how to embed a pic in a post, but I pull around a 16' tandem axle enclosed trailer 6 days of the week. So far, i busted 2 sets of leaf springs, and bent both axles. Oh yes, I managed to crack the frame too ):h
The guys jaws hit the floor when i pulled in to the repair shop. The sight of me pulling that thing all wobbly, and ass end dragging was straight out of the movies.
The one plus was no one dared cut in front of me!
I guess i need to get a bigger trailer
Jezz man thats a huge camper I think you could live in there with a family of 12!

Was it a stiff ride because of the trailer?
Was it a stiff ride because of the trailer?
The trailer was overloaded, there wasn't much room to position the truck, and the damn regular cab is on low profile tires. I-90 through South Dakota = -:t
Okay, I'm done whining. A six speed reg cab 2wd will pull down some pretty impressive fuel mileage.

The guy I bought it from..
Dude built it himself, set up the rails in his driveway and went to town. It's livable, but not "finished" inside. I guess his ol' lady got tired of the unpainted wood panels inside and made him drop a bunch of $$ on a trailer like Dave's. It tows great and most people are kinda shocked when I tell them it was someones project. Found it on craigslist about two years ago for a song...about the price of a SC4 and an HTT upgrade...;)
Works for me..stove/oven, microwave, heater, chiter/shower, fridge, electric start genny, even came with an A/C unit (I gotta install it, but it's already wired up).. 37' total-22' to the first cabinet. Hoping I can get my Rhino and my Baja in it.:thumb:

That is pretty cool, I kind of assumed it was homemade inside but even the shape of it is different.
Got to love craigslist huh? I sold my WW and bought my Wanderer on their. The RV trader is a joke now.
