how much damage will putting my truck on the dyno do to my stock alli,
hopin when i turn the switch all the way over to be close to 500hp/1000tq, i know i can't run it this way forever, but i'd like to see how close it is to these numbers. also, is it possible w/ efi to get the truck to stay only in one gear and not downshift? that's what i think will hurt it more than anything, thanks in advance

If you keep the truck in 4th, that will be the c1's and c4's. Chances are the c1's will fail at that torque level in any gear 4th and below. c2's and c3's for 5th, will definitely slip the c3's.

Yes to EFI holding, I know for sure 4th. Never tried any others.

i dyno'd my lbz with nick's 535 race tune on a stock tranny it made 479.9 and 819 i'm sure the low number was do to slippage

i forgot to ad that was a little over a year ago befor i got a lift pump):h and you may seen my other threads about building a tranny cause mine finally crapped out so what i'm saying it might drive home today but like nick's tune said stock tranny is on borrowed time at that much power

Should have dynoed it... I would have helped put it back together...:Handshake:

Thanks on the car. It seems to run pretty good.

Never seen any stock trans/converter hold 1000tq. most only hold high 800's. Only the Husker tunes make 1000+ tq it seems...
