going camping

going camping next monday and going to run ppe just wondering what tune to use. its a 24ft bumper trailer and 5500lbs unloaded. so just want to know what you guys run.

Doesn't PPE have a "tow setting"? I forget.

With just a jr. on the trans, I would probably suggest not going over level 1. IMO

Level 2 might hold, but EGT's will be your limiter even if the trans can handle the power.

all it has is tunes 1,2,3,4 not econ,tow,race and extreme like others do so im going to try the tune2 and let you know when i get back thanks dave.

well i ran the the 90hp tune and was cruising at 65-70mph with 13mpg after 210mile and only use up 16gal of diesel fuel and i hit the hills hard an never let out. only had the engine fan come one once and the egts stayed under 1100 and the only hit 1200 when it was in 6th gear,but i could get it down with the boost builder if i wanted to or just shift into 5th gear. all in all i was very impressed with my dmax this week and onlly hope to have every camping trip go this well.
