Still working out some bugs but at least it starts, runs, and moves now.:thumb: Ignore the angry power steering pump and sqeaky belt.

Holy smokes that thing sounds wicked...yes I mean the power steering pulley!
Kidding.
What compression ratio did you use with the pistons?

Obviously need to work on the tuning to get rid of some of the haze. Plus it was a chilly night here for June.

To help get rid of the haze, increase your pilot pulse width in 10% steps. You should only need about 30% more pilot, but every truck is different.

Thanks Fingers. Wish I would have gotten a chance to BS with you this past weekend at Microtel.
Should I give it another degree of timing at idle?
Don't want to get rid of haze, just lessen it.):h

I'll have to give that a try too. I have just a slight haze but the majority is cleaned up. Mine is nowhere near as bad as 05smoker

Too much timing will cause other issues. If you are too early, the pilot will not light.
Remember, you are putting a lot more fuel in the chamber faster with the bigger injectors. That's the equiv of more timing.
The problem with the lowered compression in the lack of chamber heat to light the main injection pulse. Especially before the turbo lights. I could see in the vid, as soon as you built even a little boost, your chamber sustained the main without problem.
Monitoring the chamber pressure would help steer you to when to inject pilot and main.

We wanted to be able to get to it easily to be able to get to the fuel system and swap bushings or chargers if necessary.

Good luck, hope you kill all the gremlins. Any plans to head down to Schieds in August? I'll be there and that isn't too far from you guys, right? Would love to see it run in person. :thumb:

Awesome. Now that I think about it, I think I saw you guys in the parking lot last year. I remember the green truck and some others and a bunch of fleece stickers, next to the Pear Tree Inn?
