Ok i have a thread about that talkes about carrier bearings, anyway i didnt want to use the stock rubber piece again and would rather go with a single piece drive shaft but may go with this.
Anyway you GM techs think this would be a good replacment?

Also from what i have been reading the one i need is going to be the 1.57 ID not the 1.37 correct.

CC/LWB is too long. A drive shaft shop might make one, but odds are will suggest against it.

what do ya think of the bearings in the link they are poly, more expensive, and will give more vibration(not like it will be that bad) but will more than likely last longer.
my main thing is movment(attempted binding when you get in and out of throttle you can tell me it doesnt but anything setup like that will try to bind at the connection point) i just dont want any movment im fine with the split shafts but dont like the potential for movment.

I just installed the IED poly bearing and it seems to transmit a touch more power train vibration to the cab. Nothing big, but I think it's the cause. When I replaced the bearing I also did the u-joints (Spicer) and rear transmission mount. That mount is AM and it appears to be far stiffer so that could be the source too. Either way, I am not getting any vibrations like an out of balance drive line.
The real test will be towing. I wanted to reduce the launch shudder.

I used the non-greaseable Spicers for their strength for towing.
