I haven't been over there in over 8 months....I went there earlier today and yep...they are still whining about getting nailed in Texas for tearing out their DPF's......WOW.....I am glad that...
A) I don't reside in Texas
B) I drive a 2003 LB7.....with no CAT, DPF, hell I don't even have a so-called muffler. :thumb:

HAHAHA, one of the good things about military. State of residence is Texas but i just registered the truck there this year and only thing for inspection was myself signing a paper saying it was good ):h.
But granted that wouldnt stop a randome inspection if they felt like it.

Yeah I hear ya on the "surprise inspections". I'm just glad that I never had any of this emissions crapola off of the factory line to begin with. We can all thank the wonderfull state of Ca. for starting all of this grip tightening. Cop must also have a diesel truck in order to know what to look for when pulling over trucks in Tx.

Giving out those kind of deals is what put GM under in the first place.

and don't forget how GM so wonderfully has a limitation on THEIR install of THEIR replacement injectors that THEY install, when it is THEIR engineering issue.
