I have tables adjusted on some tunes that give the "LB7 idle" and "turbine brake".

Is there an easy way (scripting hopefully) to move just these changes to any tune I have or do I have to c/p the affected cells from each table over manually?

An area for scripts would be nice for the site. LB7 idle, and some other minor changes can be easily scripted over.

of course, using quick keys cntrl+C and cntrl+V make copying and pasting a small group of cells very quick work.

I guess it seems like sometimes I miss some. If I had a script (take the time to make sure it's right) then it'd be quick and easy in the future.

I like the scripting area idea... Can we get an admin in here?

I'll see what I can do. :D

same os? if so it is pretty easy. if the os software is differant than it becomes a bit more involved, but still capable.

The thing is, I don't want to convert ALL the values from one tune to the next... only the LB7 idle and Turbine brake adjustments. Let's say I have a DD tune that I want to add the LB7 idle and Turbine brake from a tow tune I have... How do I just move the cells that give me those two things without changine the whole tune? I've scripted before where you change all the values, but never where you select just a few... sounds like it's possible?

i dont think its possible to script just a few things unless you take the time to build off a stock tune just those things you want changed. change them save the tune under lb7 idle or whatever. then open your stock file, then your newly created lb7 idle file, go to edit create script. it will copy the differances and create a script file. save that file under scripts and viola. now apply that sript to any tune you want lb7 idle to. just go to run script and run the lb7 idle.

If I took a stock tune and just changed tables for LB7 idle...
Then scripted against my stock tune, it would save just the LB7 idle differences right?
Then I could open a high HP tune for example and run the script and it would only adjust the LB7 idle cells?

I've only ever scripted to go between two OS's...

okay got it. in order to create the script you must load your stock tune first, then load your lb7 tune as the alternate.
edit-create script

click save once it creates it. save it under whatever name you'll want it under

save.

close both tuning files and load your stock file

edit-run script. it will bring up the default scripts and the new one you made. click the new one, or the one you want and okay.

click run. it will pop up done and that should be it.

check the tune where the changes should have been made and make sure they are done. if they are now you have lb7 idle changes applyed to whatever tune you want.
