'07/'08 Kodiak

I heard that the '07/'08 Kodiak now has a all electric engine fan setup. I have not looked at one, but if this is true, it would be interesting to see what they have done.

Can someone verify? Is this true?

If this is true i definatly would like to see what it would take to fit it in our smaller engine bay ):h, Dave i believe i am making a road trip this weekend if you dont mind. Destination Daves house. The wife and i will be coming if its cool looking foreward to that tune :thumb: and those shocks my front tires are gettin ate up!!!!:mad:

what CFM are these fans supposed to pull?

they arent "electric" in the traditional sense that you guys are thinking.

Its going to be a mechanically driven fan no matter what. The current draw req'd for something that would move enough air to cool a fully loaded dmax would be absurd.

The question is (im not sure, Ive heard people say both things)

is whether or not the mechanical fan is electrically actuated/engaged (like the pto clutch on some smaller tractors), OR if its the same old viscous clutch setup like on the pickups.
