This package is for this little item;) I wish this was for my truck but is not it is for a buddy of mine, I am getting pretty good at spendin his money:D I also have a Dana 60 sitting in my garage for his truck too.

The PPE is a one piece down pipe all the way to the front pipe.

The ATS is also one piece but it goes down, turns under the truck, and then stops.

Yah the freezer idea intercooler is not goin to be very efficient):h I have had the turbo for a while, and my garage draws moisture, so I stuck it in there. Yah we plan on wrapping the downpipe, any suggestions on what to use? I have a some of that heat wrap tape stuff you can get from Summit.

does the ppe downpipe require any welding when installed? i was goin to get a diamond eye downpipe, but was told i have to weld a tab on the trans dipstick? i dont want to mess with welding shit if i dont have to. any help guys?

I just put a Diamond Eye in that I got from McSwain that came wrapped and with all necessary tabs in the right place.

I have heard of folks getting a bung welded on them so that they can grab a post-turbo EGT value, but that is it.

well thats good to know. someone from alligator performance told me i had to weld a tab for the trans dipstick. i will probably go ahead and order it. how long did it take you to install it?

About 5 minutes....;)

That doesn't include the 30 or so hours we spent to R&R the transmission to do a SC IV install, R&R the turbo to do some "stuff" and of course clean up the shop to make it possible to do the work in the first place...):h

Honestly, I have no idea how long it would take with everything in the way, couple of hours at least...but then, I work slow...:)

diamond eye has a nice one piece i think and it comes pre-wrapped.

on edit: i didnt see the second page lol but my 2 cents anyway.
