Painting the roof antennas

Any of you fellars ever paint or seen anyone paint the Onstar/XM roof antennas? I've been thinking of doing a color match but I'm worried about the metallics in the paint messing with the reception.

Any thoughts?

You could just replace it with a billet aluminum one instead of painting it? :thumb:
