MAP psi

For all you lb7 guys when you data log what kind psi do you see on your map pressure? Mine comes up to 37 quick and stops, ive talked to guys that see over 40 with the stock turbo and 50 plus with gt 40's. Is this an 02 thing? or is my map sensor bad?

The factory MAP sensor is a 3 bar sensor, so that's all it can measure. It's the same for all Duramax's. The first bar is really vacuum, so 1 bar = 0 PSI, 3 bar = 29.4 PSI

What are you using to get those numbers. As Steve said, The engine only has a 3 bar sensor and doesn't read above 30 PSI reliably.

its the turbo boost sensor, i beleive its boostdma is the abbreviation on the pids
