By the looks of the aftermath...I don't think he did so well in that incident. Makes you think twice when towing a high profile trailer. To remind myself of my trailer height, I have my "max height" labeled on the drivers -side front corner of my TH in reversed lettering so that I can see it in my side view mirror. I have seen accidents like this too often.

I too hope that the poor guy made out okay. The truck and trailer can be replaced after all. It is hard to tell from the atm video, but it looks like he may have barely escaped. I can't believe that the over-head structure went down that easily. Good thing no one was beside him underneath getting money from the other machine when this occurred!

Damn, that didn't look good for the driver. Around the 7sec mark you can see him getting pinned between the seat, and steering wheel. I hope he, and the passenger(s) are ok.

I read a follow-up news article from a local Texas paper that reported all passengers survived, although the report did not say what injuries were sustained from the accident. I am surprised how easily that over-head structure collapsed...looks like shotty work to me. Not to blame the builder/engineer of that structure, but something was left out during construction. I was glad to hear that the occupants survived.

Ouch, not good.
If you watch closely you can see the passenger door open, the guy got out and his 10 year old son was fine.

They made it out alright. IT happened here in Utah i think
I hope the driver was ok, but as for the truck. He shoulda went with a D-max and that would never happen. lol):h

Seeing everyone survived (glad to hear btw), they should show that video at RV dealers for a shocking reminder to pay attention all the times.

There is no way that overhang was up to par and if it was building laws need to change. The trailer should rip apart before the structure comes down.
