throwing 401 code w/ PPE

I am getting a '401' code while running a PPE tuner. It started about 3-4 weeks after blocking my EGR. The code never popped up before then even running catless.

I understand the PPE tuner is supposed to block any EGR related codes so any ideas on what is the problem?

I have tried returning the engine to stock, and cleared the codes. As soon as I installed a tune again the code popped up BEFORE I even started my engine.

The PPE tuner I have is for an 06 LLY/LBZ with the latest (1.20) update.

Should I just finger stick the SOB, and forget about it?

I thought you specifically had to turn off the EGR codes on the tuner.

Depending on which version you have it turns off the egr code. I belive the hot, hot+2 and hot+2e.t. are the ones that do it.

I have the Hot 2 so I guess it is supposed to block the code. I guess I should call PPE and see what is up. Thanks

Yep something is wrong. When I had my ppe even before I sent it in to get updated to the e.t. version it would turn off the egr code. Good Luck!
