My name is Ted, I see a lot of familiar faces over here, while I've been lurking and making a few posts, I just got my truck back from the body shop after nearly three months so I figured I'd say hello and use it as a chance to whore up some pics of my rig. I backed it into a pole (cause I'm a moron) and while we had it apart, I wanted to do some things I've always wanted, and it seemed like perfect time:

Hopefully this weekend, my RDL up pipes will go on, along with my danville turbo (with Finger Vanes) and my diamond eye direct pipe, and with any luck, some EFI live tunes to make it run.
See you all around!

I like your application of the spray on bed-liner to the underside of the rear quarter panels. I have been abusing mine with rocks and was wondering just what that would look like...I likey !):h

I've seen Ted's truck in person. Very nice, very clean, and well balanced. Nothing gaudy or out of place.

I didn't see a sled pulling hitch on it though. Must have left it at the garage. :)

Good Job Ted. :thumb:

Thanks Jon, let's get that turbo in there and some traction bars before we think about breaking the pulling hitch out of the garage, ok?;)
Good meeting you finally last night.

Welcome and looks great. Did you paint chrome bumpers or find some grey ones you could paint up? If you painted the chrome what was the process?

Jimmy painted the Chrome bumpers. Sandblasted them thoroughly (the front looked horrible on the inside as that cap just traps all kinds of gunk in there) and then used an acrylic enamel paint was what I was told as it is slightly more durable. What you can't see in the pics, is that the light bar and the underside of the step bars (factory stainless) have the invisible bra/clear vinyl to help protect them from chips as well. We'll see how well it holds up.

I too got to see Ted's truck, it is a very nice looking ride. I like that it uses colors you don't often see together. :thumb:

Ted, nice to meet you. I get the "Big" part of your user name, but you seemed like a pleasant fellow....):h

Nice meeting you Tom, truck looked good.
As for my name...well, I've mellowed out in the last few years. ;)

Your truck looks sharp Ted! Is the entire frame rail rhino lined too?

I've got to pull the bed off of my truck in a couple weeks, so I may have to follow suit ;)

Thanks, the frame rail has a product called Chassis Saver, it's a frame paint (I think for Big Rigs), only the underside of the box (bed) and underside of the rockers got the lining. Underside of the bed had taken quite a beating in only 4 years.

My truck has similar undercoating on the lower bedside - it's called rubber.):h
